I'm too slow, so here's a quick old past angel Phoenix during the War in Heaven, plus a drabble that was for the time travel rp, which I never had the chance to do my part.
A war-torn land plagued the grand, white structures. Each corner had carefully sculpted, intricate designs. Several people with white wings gathered around. In the middle kneeled a bloodied and battered Phoenix, and behind his back was possibly pure white wings. His hands were tied with chains behind his back as he kneeled on the ground. All was silent until an archangel's loud, commanding voice echoed, “Phoenix, do you understand the consequences to what you have committed? Your sins of disobeying us?” Phoenix was quiet as the other angels murmured with anger, disapproval, and, especially, disappointment. Tears fell from the rejected angel’s eyes,
“I... didn't know this would happen to me--to us. He--He tricked us. We thought nothing like this would happen. Please understand.”
He shakes his head as tears flowed down his face. His naivety finally led to his ultimate failure.
The archangel walked over to Phoenix and bent down, gently caressing Phoenix’s teared-up face. The angel sympathetically looked at him and smiled sadly. He rose up and readied his sword at the rejected angel’s head. “Thou, Phoenix, shalt be exiled to Hell as your punishment for eternity. I bid thou farewell.” With a slash of the archangel's sword, Phoenix's blood splattered everywhere, and he fell.
